Welcome to the 33nd Annual Quad Cities STAMP OUT CANCER AUCTION sponsored by the Quad City Stamp Club. Today we offer a wide variety of philatelic material, none of which would be available unless someone cared. Thank you for your time and bids. ALL OF THE PROCEEDS ARE DONATED TO THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY.

AUCTION RULES:

1. All floor bidders must register at the reception desk, giving their full name and address. The bidder will be given a numbered card which will serve for bidding and identification.

2. Mail bids must be sent to: Quad City Stamp Club, c/o STAMP OUT CANCER AUCTION. P.O. Box 1301, Moline, IL 61266-1301. E-mail bids can be sent to pmats5@aol.com. All mail bids must be received by 5:00 PM CST on Friday,  April 9, 2010. E-mail bids must be received by 9:00 PM CST on Friday, April 10, 2010. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Do NOT send mail bids or Fax bids to The Lodge - these will also be refused. Bids not to standard increments will be rounded down.

3. Lots will be sold to the highest bidder at one advance over the second highest bidder. All bids will be held in confidence. "Buy" bids will not be accepted. In case of ties, the earliest POSTMARK will prevail. The minimum mail bid for any lot will be $1.00. However, bids that are unrealistic are seldom successful.

4. Successful bidders are expected to make payment in full before lots are delivered. Mail bidders will be notified by mail as to the amount of their purchases after closing. Mail bid payment is due seven (7) days after the receipt of the notice.. Postage and handling will be added to your bid. Since all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society, NO LOTS may be returned for any reason whatsoever! Every effort has been made to accurately identify and describe these lots. Personal inspection is recommended. All lots are sold "As Is".

5. Placing a bid constitutes acceptance of the foregoing conditions of sale.

6. BIDDING INCREMENTS:
          Up to $10.00 is 0.50

          $10 to $20 is $1.00

          $20 to $50 is $2.00

          $50 to $100 is $5.00

          Over $100 is $10.00
