Once again it is time to think not so much of ourselves, but what we can do for others.  A year has come and gone since our last "STAMP OUT CANCER" Auction. Looking forward to 2011, we must again call upon our fellow collectors to provide us with the caliber of material necessary to provide another success.  Over the past 33 years, donors like you have helped us in raising over $231,148 for the American Cancer Society.  The Quad City Stamp Club proudly announces the kick off of the 2011 "STAMP OUT CANCER" Auction to be held Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM (viewing will begin at 11:00 AM) at The Lodge, Spruce Hills Drive and Utica Ridge Road, Bettendorf, Iowa.

The entire proceeds of this event benefits the American Cancer Society.  All material is donated.  All philatelic material is greatly appreciated.  Please do not send catalogs older than four years old.  These donations are all tax deductible according to your tax status.  Acknowledgement for the prices realized will be sent after the auction.  Donations should be received by February 21, 2009 to be included in the catalog.  Please donate early so the material can receive proper publicity.  

Auction catalogs will be mailed out a month prior to the event and can be requested by writing to us.  NOTE:  Auction Catalogs will not be automatically mailed to everyone.  If you have participated (Donor, bidder or volunteer) in the past 3 years you will receive a catalog.  ALL others must request a catalog via mail, or e-mail (pmats5@aol.com).  Mail bids and E-mail bids will be accepted and we encourage you to participate in this way.
